Could Nerval’s Aurélia possibly have anything to do with a sculpture of the same name by Jacques Lipchitz, of which a cast is in the Peggy GUggenheim Collection? Grateful for any light that can be shed on Lipchitz’s mysterious figure. Philip Rylands
