How so? I usually try to avoid too much biographical detail when it comes to writers; it can sometimes – as you imply – impinge on one’s desire to read them. But thankfully I have already read Borges, and doubt that my admiration could be imperillied ex post facto by a biographical tidbit. Pray tell.
