Joseph McElroy will be reading from his new novel Cannonball at the South Street Seaport on Thursday the 29th. Also: his piece “The Last Disarmament but One” is online at Golden Handcuffs.
A collection of French poetry with audio recordings, some dit par l’auteur.

oh did he actually read from the novel? did you go and how was that? i managed to continually misread the listing on the site and then here as it being the handcuffs piece being read again, which i thought seemed odd, but evidently didn’t manage to connect its being odd to questioning it enough to read it more carefully.
It was an extremely wet reading, and everything started late, but he did read from Cannonball which is evidently a short novel – shorter than The Letter Left to Me – vaguely about the Iraq war which doesn’t yet have a publisher.
